Rotary Club of Calgary Stampede Park makes a significant donation to the Perimeter Security Wall Project

OLOK is delighted to announce a significant donation from the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park in support of the construction of a security wall for the protection of the girls and staff. The Government of Uganda mandated this work in its efforts to help reduce the incidence of child trafficking and to promote the general safety and well being of the 100 orphans in OLOK’s care. Thank you so much to the Rotary Club of Calgary at Stampede Park for its continued support of the orphanage over the past several years with the installation of a well to bring clean water to the children and an emergency generator to provide electrical supply during power outages which occur frequently.
