Through the Calgary Foundation, the Nathan O'Brien Children's Foundation donated $10 000 to the construction of the protective wall around the orphanage. The Nathan O'Brien Children's Foundation is committed to honouring the memory of Nathan O’Brien and his legacy of compassion and kindness by helping improve the lives of children giving them the opportunity to live, hope and pursue their dreams. (nathanobrienfoundation.com.) Every brick that is laid in Uganda will carry Nathan's memory and spirit, and the strength of his family's kindness. We are forever grateful for their generous donation that will protect the girls at the orphanage for years to come. Our work is sustained and uplifted by partners like the Nathan O'Brien Children's Foundation who choose hope, healing and service even in the face of great loss.
